Job Summary
HOURS: Monday -Friday; primarily 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. w/one hour for lunch.
The Human Resources Assistant performs a variety of Human Resources support activities. Primary duties include administrative human resource related processes and functions data entry and management documentation customer service administrative support and process improvement. Utilizes technology with nearly all aspects of the job.
Strong scheduling management experience desired. Must be solution-focused and self-motivated with strong project management experience.
The Human Resources Assistant
- Performs administrative support tasks including scheduling meetings preparing documents and maintaining files and records.
- Assists with HR processes such as processing applications employee records correspondence and routine reports.
- Inputs updates and maintains data in HR systems and spreadsheets to support tracking and reporting needs.
- Provides customer service to internal and external stakeholders by responding to routine inquiries and directing questions to appropriate HR staff.
- Communicates effectively through written verbal and electronic methods to support daily HR operations.
- Maintains accuracy and attention to detail in all work while ensuring confidentiality of employee applicant and organizational information.
- Organizes and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Supports HR and system goals by assisting with departmental activities and projects as assigned.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: None.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Ability to work without direct supervision. Excellent customer service written and verbal communication and organizational skills required. Computer and technical software proficiency required including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Must prioritize quality of work and excellence in customer service. Must demonstrate attention to detail accuracy and completeness in documentation. Must apply organizational skills and a sound understanding of HR policies procedures and processes to achieve expected outcomes. Must apply consulting communication negotiation and conflict resolution skills to facilitate positive outcomes.

Compensation Range:
$17.39 - $24.35Employee pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications credentials education and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
