HR ADMINISTRATOR

ENTACT is currently seeking a motivated and detail-orientated Human Resources Administrator to join our nationwide fast-paced HR/Payroll Teamin our Westmont IL office. This role will be in the office while training then will shift to a hybrid arrangement once training is successfully completed.
Position Summary:
The HR Administrator supports accurate human resources and payroll records employee processes reporting and service delivery while working closely with Associates and the internal HR team. The role combines administrative coordination compliance-related processing communication and routine office-based data work. Hybrid position requiring 2-3 days in office each week.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain accurate employee records personnel files and HRIS data ensuring high level of data integrity.
- Process new hire onboarding E-Verify and I-9 processes as well as creating Associate records in HRIS and Electronic Filing System.
- Process employment-related documentation.
- Prepare reports from HRIS system as needed.
- Process unemployment claims
- Administer document distribution through HRIS
- Provide support to our Associates and internal HR team as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies employment laws and HR best practices.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources/Payroll team as needed
- Participate in HR projects training initiatives and process improvements
- Other duties as assigned.

- Solid proficiency in Word and Excel.
** for those with experience the following is desirable:
- 2 years experience in fast-paced Human Resources / Payroll environment with an emphasis on employee/Associate service.
- Experience in mid-large size multi-site / multi-state service or construction company with a 500 employee workforce a plus.
- HRIS data input and reporting experience (Paycor and Viewpoint Construction software is plus).
- General knowledge of FLSA HIPAA COBRA EEO and other labor laws.

- Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers calculators copiers and fax machines.
- Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals technical procedures and government regulations.
- Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
- Job success often hinges upon interpersonal communication and relationship development skills and job tasks require frequent interchange and successful completion depends in large part upon effective interaction and communication with others.
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to safely travel by air car train or bus.
Work Environment:
The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional office setting.
Full Time Pay: The salary range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr. commensurate with experience. ENTACT offers a health plan-medical dental vision life disability; PTO sick pay per state law and generous 401k match.
