This position plays an important role in reviewing payroll information administering employee benefits and programs maintaining accurate HR records supporting employees throughout their journey with the Company and helping make our workplace an engaging and enjoyable place to be.
What Youll Do
Payroll Support
- Compile and review weekly payroll information for accuracy and completeness prior to submission.
- Review time and attendance records approved time-off requests garnishments reimbursements bonuses compensation changes and benefit deductions.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information by working with employees managers Accounting and outside vendors.
- Assist employees with payroll-related questions and research discrepancies as needed.
- Review attendance records and communicate potential attendance or policy-compliance concerns.
- Maintain and update the Company vacation schedule.
Benefits and Employee Programs
- Administer health welfare and retirement benefit plans including enrollments qualifying life-event changes and terminations.
- Partner with Paycor benefit brokers insurance carriers and internal team members to coordinate annual open enrollment.
- Update benefit plans and employee information in Paycor assist employees with enrollment questions and review benefit elections for accuracy.
- Communicate benefit information in a clear helpful and engaging way.
- Serve as a resource between employees and benefit vendors to help resolve questions and concerns.
- Administer employee programs including longevity bonuses and gym memberships.
- Promote wellness initiatives and encourage employee participation.
- Review benefit and wellness-program participation and recommend opportunities for improvement.
Employee Records and Compliance
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR documentation.
- Review new-hire payroll benefits and employment forms for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with required regulatory reporting and recordkeeping.
- Coordinate required employee training and maintain training records and certificates.
- Stay informed about changes to employment laws payroll requirements benefits regulations and HR best practices.
Onboarding and Employee Experience
- Support new-hire onboarding and ensure all required employment and payroll documentation is completed.
- Help employees understand Company policies procedures payroll processes and available benefits.
- Support employee offboarding and exit interviews.
- Assist with compensation and benefit market surveys.
Employee Engagement
- Serve as an active member of the Companys A-Team which helps plan and coordinate employee events and engagement activities.
- Assist with Town Hall meetings Company picnics recognition programs celebrations and other Company-sponsored events.
- Bring creative ideas and positive energy to programs that help employees feel connected and appreciated.
What Were Looking For
- Previous Human Resources payroll support benefits administration or HR administrative experience.
- Experience working with Paycor software including employee records payroll review benefits administration and annual open enrollment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies before they become problems.
- Knowledge of employee benefits payroll practices HR recordkeeping and employment-related compliance requirements.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and approachable demeanor when assisting employees with confidential or sensitive matters.
- The ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of the HR team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever support is needed.
