Housekeeping Rooms Coordinator

The Rooms Coordinator will assist the Housekeeping Management team with daily operations administrative support and communication efforts to ensure guest rooms are prepared and available for arrivals while maintaining efficient department workflow.
As the Rooms Coordinator you will:
- Answer department phone calls using professional phone etiquette.
- Provide the Welcome Center and Front Desk with daily room inventory updates for guest arrivals.
- Process room status reports housekeeping service reports and clean room reports.
- Maintain organized filing systems and perform document copying and recordkeeping.
- Update and track room status in HotSOS and Fusin including maintaining the property grid and room color-coding system.
- Communicate with the Front Desk regarding daily inventory needs VIP arrivals and housekeeping service requests.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping Managers and Supervisors on unexpected departures VIP arrivals pre-registered rooms cleaning services and hourly room readiness updates.
- Ensure owner units are inspected and ready for occupancy by established deadlines.
- Monitor room availability and maintain an adequate inventory of clean units for Front Desk operations.
- Assign guest rooms and work orders for the following days housekeeping schedule.
- Distribute daily cleaning assignments including mid-week services and special projects for housekeeping teams.
- Maintain accurate records of daily units cleaned and serviced by both internal housekeeping staff and external contractors.
- Support the department by ensuring timely communication accurate reporting and efficient coordination between Housekeeping Front Desk and resort operations teams.
- Other duties assigned by leadership team.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Minimum of three to six months of related administrative housekeeping hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Equivalent combination of education training and experience will be considered.
- Strong organizational communication and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn property management and housekeeping systems including HotSOS and Fusin.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests team members management and multiple departments
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as business needs require.
