This position supervises and schedules public area housekeeping colleagues inspects assigned areas coordinates cleaning priorities manages supplies and ensures all spaces consistently meet the luxury standards of Ponte Vedra Inn & ResponsibilitiesSupervise schedule train coach and support public area housekeeping daily responsibilities and conduct pre-shift fitness areas studios locker rooms restrooms hallways offices lounges stairways entrances and other public all areas remain clean organized properly stocked and ready for members and high-traffic areas throughout the day and adjust staffing or cleaning priorities as promptly and professionally to member and guest cleaning activities with Sports Club Wellness Engineering and other operational appropriate inventory levels for cleaning supplies linens amenities and supply orders and assist with controlling departmental cleaning products and equipment are used safely and according to established maintenance concerns safety hazards damaged equipment and facility issues accurate inspection records supply logs and other required with employee performance evaluations attendance management and ongoing compliance with sanitation safety and company additional duties as assigned by and ExperienceA minimum of two years of housekeeping or public area cleaning experience is required. Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a luxury hotel resort private club fitness facility or similar hospitality environment is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience scheduling employees conducting inspections training staff managing supplies and maintaining high cleanliness and service high school diploma or equivalent is required. The ability to speak read write and understand English at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with members guests colleagues and management is leadership coaching and organizational skillsExceptional attention to detailAbility to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentProfessional and service-oriented communication skillsAbility to handle member and guest concerns with discretionBasic computer and administrative skillsAvailability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings evenings weekends and holidaysPhysical RequirementsMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods frequently bend reach kneel push and pull and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
