Hose Coil Pressure Test Operator (PAF) (#9a0e)

You will ensure finished hose assemblies meet quality and safety standards by performing hose coiling and pressure testing on a night shift production line. You will work onsite with the production team and maintenance contributing to consistent output and defect reduction during a 3rd shift schedule (11:30 PM 7:30 AM) with mandatory overtime.

• Review hose conformance while coiling verify part numbers hose size and job numbers to manufacturing specifications
• Inspect hose for defects (broken wires kinks missing wires bony hose) and remove/nonconforming sections
• Measure OD ID and pitch; prepare and complete proper labeling and documentation
• Operate pressure test equipment: set up test mode jaws mandrels prefill run cycle time and dump/purge pressure
• Record PSI impact and other test data; place tested hose into quality inspection area
• Maintain a clean orderly work area and follow 5S and safety practices
• Report production or equipment issues to the Direct Lead and support maintenance as needed
• Perform other production tasks and duties as assigned including work of equal or lower classification

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
• Willingness to complete on-the-job training (18 weeks; up to 10 weeks if needed)
• Ability to work mandatory night shift hours (3rd shift: 11:30 PM 7:30 AM) and flexible hours for overtime
• Attention to detail and constant alertness to product quality; good near vision for reading measurements and labels
• Basic computer skills and ability to record inspection/test data
• Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs frequently stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks

• Prior production or manufacturing experience (preferred)
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Comfort working in a team environment and participating in Lean/5S initiatives
• Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify changes

$16.60 - $20.75/hour
