Hose Coil Pressure Test Operator (PAF) (#8185)

You will ensure finished hose assemblies meet specifications and safety standards by performing hose coiling and pressure testing on the production floor. Your work directly affects product quality and throughput and you will coordinate with the Value Stream Team Leader and Maintenance. Onsite 1st shift (7:00 AM3:30 PM) MondayFriday with mandatory overtime as needed.

• Review hose conformance while coiling on reels and cut or tape out nonconforming sections
• Verify part numbers hose sizes job numbers dimensions tag colors and reel diameters per manufacturing specifications
• Inspect products for defects (broken wires kinks missing wires bony hose) and record attributes on inspection sheets
• Operate pressure test equipment; set test modes jaws mandrels prefill cycle time and purge per specs
• Record PSI impacts cut and wrap hose ends and place tested hose in the quality inspection area
• Measure OD ID and pitch; cut burst and periodic samples as required
• Maintain a clean work area and follow 5S safety regulations and quality guidelines
• Report production issues to the Direct Lead and perform work of equal or lower classifications as needed

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks (lifting pushing pulling reaching bending twisting squatting)
• Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs frequently and follow safe material handling practices
• Ability to follow written specifications and record inspection data accurately
• Basic computer skills and the ability to monitor machine sounds and identify changes
• Strong attention to detail and continuous mental/visual alertness

• Production experience (preferred but not required)
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Sound decision-making math reading and writing skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

$15.00 - $18.75/hour
