Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
Supports the academic success and holistic development of Honors students through advising student development programming and strategic initiatives that advance the Honors Colleges mission. Develops implements and coordinates Honors student development initiatives provides direct advising to Honors students and collaborates with campus and external partners to enhance the student experience and support Honors College priorities. Other duties as assigned.JOB DUTIES:
15% - Leads and/or contributes to Honors College initiatives aligning with professionalexpertiseand college needs. Cultivatescampusand external relationships including potentialalumnicommunityand/or industry partnerships to advance professional development opportunities. Participates in the admissions process by reviewing and evaluating applications for first-year and continuing Honors College college onappropriate committeesand with external constituents including professional organizations. 35% - Provide leadership for Honors student development initiatives to foster student engagement and advance Honors learning outcomes. Collaborate with the Honors Graduate Assistant for Advising & Student Development to develop coordinate promote support and assess Honors student-led programming. Leadeffortsacross Honors College unitsto develop best practices for student engagement andtocoordinateshared student development initiatives. 50% - Serve as the assigned Honors advisor for a group of Honors advisees. Meet regularly with Honors advisees in one-on-one advising sessions. Provide supplemental advising to Honors students on a wide range of topics including the following: Honors course requirements general departmental and interdisciplinary Honors programs; Honors-specific programming and opportunities; campus resources; and career and personal growth and development. Conduct group advising and distinction information drop-in advising during peak times of the semester. As part of the Honors advising teamassistin the development of advising-related programs protocols and strategies. Support Honors advising and student development initiatives.JOB CODE:

A bachelors degree and experience in student services programs.

Expected Salary Range
-Salary is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to a candidates previous experience knowledge skills and performance in accordance with Clemsons compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL:
Normal Operations - Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.JOB LOCATION:
