Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide.
Overview:
Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care such as personal hygiene grooming toileting meal preparation and feeding intake/output ambulation and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed toilet and other areas of the home.
Anticipated Status/Shift:
Full Time (40 hours/week)
Day Shift (Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM)

Education
No specific education requirements
Certification/Licensure
CNA (Required)
First Aid Basics Certification (Required)
BLS (Required within 90 days of hire)
Experience
Previous Customer Service Experience (Required)
Prior Hospice experience (Preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $20.10 - $29.63 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/on-call pay overtime shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities.
