Holiday Card Packing Specialist

Join our team as a Holiday Card Packing Specialist and play a key role in preparing festive products for shipment during the busiest time of the year. This seasonal position offers hands-on experience with packing and operating machinery in a dynamic environment.

As a Holiday Card Packing Specialist you will be responsible for efficiently packing holiday cards preparing products for shipment and supporting shipping operations. Training is provided so no prior experience with machinery is necessary. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting with a consistent schedule through mid-December.

• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract
• PAY RATE: $20 per hour
• LOCATION: Des Plaines IL 60018
• SCHEDULE: 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM Monday-Friday plus weekend work until December 19

Responsibilities

• Pack holiday cards and prepare products for shipment.
• Perform shipping shrink wrapping and sorting tasks.
• Operate machinery as needed with training provided.
• Wear identifiable clothing such as colored vests or shirts.
• Work primarily within designated Planet Art work areas and common spaces.
• Be available to work up to 7 days a week from Thanksgiving to just before Christmas.

Required Qualifications

• Pick and packing or general warehouse experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic computer skills preferred.
