Highway/DOT Program Manager Heavy Civil & Structures Metro Atlanta GA

Lead multiple heavy highway and DOT projects while overseeing Project Managers and project teams across roadway bridge structures and related heavy civil work. This senior leadership role is responsible for project performance team development and consistent execution across the program.

What Youll Do

• Oversee multiple concurrent highway and DOT projects and the Project Managers responsible for them.
• Monitor financials forecasts schedules production change management and overall project performance.
• Identify cost schedule staffing subcontractor and operational risks early and drive corrective action.
• Support Project Managers with planning execution client issues and escalated project challenges.
• Coordinate with Superintendents and field leadership on staffing resources production and execution.
• Oversee estimating handoffs project startup buyout procurement and execution planning.
• Provide leadership across roadway bridge retaining-wall concrete drainage utility and related heavy civil scopes.
• Develop Project Managers and drive consistent project controls and operating standards across the team.

What Were Looking For

• Extensive contractor-side heavy highway and DOT project management experience.
• Proven experience overseeing multiple projects and leading or mentoring Project Managers.
• Strong background across roadway/heavy highway and bridge/structures construction.
• Strong understanding of project financials forecasting cost control scheduling change management and field operations.
• Ability to identify at-risk projects and resolve issues before they escalate.
• Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction methods production subcontractors and field execution.
• State DOT experience required; Georgia DOT experience preferred.
• Strong leadership communication organization and problem-solving skills.
