Highway Maintenance Technician/ Snow & Ice Operator-Night Shift
Position Summary:Roy Jorgensen Associates Inc. is currently seeking full-timeHighway Maintenance Technicians/Snow & Ice Operatorsto join our team on the Central I70 Project in Denver Colorado.This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance debris removal street sweeping sign and guardrail repair concrete repair mowing and vegetation control roadway snow removal etc. as well as adherence to all applicable federal state and local regulations as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.

Hourly Rate:Hourly rate depends on experience certifications/training and licenses (such as CDL A or B). Rate can range from $22-$27/hr.
Schedule:Primary Assignment: Night Shift
Night Shift (Typical Schedule)
Monday - Thursday
6:00 PM - 4:30 AM
While this position is primarily assigned to night operations employees may occasionally be required to work alternate schedules based on weather operational needs training emergencies or project requirements.
Required Experience:- Minimum 2years of related experience
- Roadway maintenance experience
- Wheel Loader Skidsteer Fork Lift Asphalt Roller etc operator
- Driver License required
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- CDL A or B preferred
- MOT Certifications (traffic control)
- Snow and Ice removal experience
- Highway Maintenance experience
Must pass criminal background check
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
- Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
- Carry out simple arithmetic functions
- Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
- Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
- Ability to use smart phone and applications
- Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
- Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly while twisting; other strenuous manual labor may be required
- Ability to operate hand/power tools
