High Vacuum Technician

In this role you will be a High Vacuum Technician for a client that is in the electronics manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for operating maintaining and repair of high and ultra-high vacuum systems.

This is a direct hire role that must be performed on-site.

The pay is $80000 to $90000

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of hands on experience in high or ultra-high vacuum systems
• Strong knowledge of vacuum theory pressure measurement and system design
• Knowledge of stainless steel piping fittings valves and clean room procedures
• Experience with thin film deposition semiconductor or scientific instrumentation environments is a plus
• Must have precise welding experience
• Ability to install assemble and maintain high and ultra-high vacuum systems and components
• Ability to troubleshoot vacuum leaks and perform leak detection using helium mass spectrometers
• Operate and maintain pumps (mechanical turbomolecular cryogenic diffusion and ion pumps)
• Calibrate and repair vacuum gauges and controllers
