Job Title: High School ELA Teacher
Location: Dearborn MI
Type: Direct Hire

Position Summary:
A public charter school is looking for a dedicated High School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching fostering student growth and creating an engaging classroom environment that promotes literacy and critical thinking.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality ELA instruction aligned with curriculum standards
Develop engaging lesson plans that promote reading writing speaking and critical thinking skills
Assess student progress and provide feedback to support academic growth
Create a positive classroom culture that supports learning and student success
Collaborate with colleagues administration and parents to support student achievement
Participate in school initiatives meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Education or related field
Valid Michigan Teaching Certification OR willing to obtain(Secondary with self-contained classroom experience preferred)
Experience working with high school students
Strong classroom management and communication skills
