High School Assistant Wrestling Coach

Pottsgrove Athletics is seeking a qualified dedicated and high-energy High School Wrestling Assistant Coach. The coach will be responsible for leading all aspects of assisting the head coach of our program including team management player development supervision fostering a competitive and sportsmanship-driven environment aligned with Pottsgroves athletic values.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the daily operations of the High School Wrestling including practice planning game strategy and communication.
• Maintain strict adherence to all rules policies and guidelines established by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and the Pioneer Athletic Conference (PAC).
• Foster student-athlete academic success sportsmanship discipline and leadership on and off the mat.

Qualifications

• Required: Minimum of (3) years of experience coaching wrestling.
• Required: Comprehensive understanding of PIAA rules eligibility criteria and Pioneer Athletic Conference guidelines.
• Preferred: Prior experience coaching interscholastic sports.

• Preferred: Prior experience participating in interscholastic sports.
