Heavy Equipment Operator

Skillforce is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators for ongoing project work in Lake Frederick Virginia. As a Heavy Equipment Operator you will be responsible for operating excavators dozers loaders or backhoes on active job sites and keeping the grade and dirt work moving. You will work Monday through Friday with an early morning start and be home every night.

Heavy Equipment Operator Pay:

• Up to$28.00 per hour W-2based on yourexperience level.
• Weekly pay everyFriday by directdeposit.

Heavy Equipment Operator Schedule:

• Monday throughFriday 8 hour shiftswith an early morningstart.
• Ongoingproject work and youare home every nightwith no overnighttravel.

Heavy Equipment Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate heavyequipment on activejob sites includingexcavators dozersloaders andbackhoes.
• Gradeexcavate and prepsites ahead of thebuild working fromsite plans and gradestakes.
• Load andmove material aroundthe site and supportother trades andlaborers as workprogresses.
• Inspectyour equipment at thestart of each shiftand report anymechanical issues toyour supervisor.
• Keep your work zoneclean safe andorganized and followthe sites dailysafety briefing.

Heavy Equipment Operator Qualifications:

• You have priorexperience operatingheavy equipment suchas excavatorsdozers loaders orbackhoes.
• You arecomfortable runningequipment solo andworking safely on anactive job site.
• You can read basicsite plans and gradestakes and youcommunicate well withyour crew andsupervisor.
• Youhold a valid driverlicense and havereliabletransportation to thejob site.
• You mustpass a pre-employmentdrug screen andbackground check andyou must beauthorized to work inthe U.S.
