Position Summary

Zachry Construction is seeking an experienced Loader Operator tosafely and efficiently operate a loaderfor plant and general dirt work operations. The Loader Operator willbe responsible formoving and loading subgrade and roadway materials supporting production operations and ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently according to company standards.

WhatYoullDo

• Operatea loader to move load and distribute various subgrade and roadway materials.
• Support plant operations and general dirt work as assigned.
• Follow all required company and project safety rules policies and procedures.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and report maintenance needs or equipment issues.
• Maintainequipment cleanliness and ensure proper functionality.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to coordinate material flow.
• Perform tasks requiring extended periods of sitting walking or standing.
• Performadditionalduties asassigned by the supervisor.

WhatWereLooking For

• Minimum of 4 years of experienceoperatingheavy equipment including loaders.
• Proficient in loader operation for material handling subgrade work and site preparation.
• Physical ability to perform assigned tasks including walking on uneven terrain and climbing equipment ladders.
• Knowledge of general construction and equipment operation safety procedures.
• Experience with other heavy equipment such as excavators backhoes or dozers preferred.
• Dependable self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors to improve operational skills.
• Strong commitment to safety andmaintaininga clean organized work environment.
