Position Summary

Zachry Construction is seeking an Equipment Foreman to oversee and manage the onsite operations of Zachrys equipment fleet in (City State). The Equipment Foremanis responsible forensuring all equipment ismaintainedin safe reliable working condition while managing costs training personnel and supporting job site operations. This individual must be ethical in all business practicesmaintainstrong vendor and employee relationships and be available to work nights and weekends as needed.


WhatYoullDo

  • Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing company safety policies and conducting regular safety meetings.
  • Maintainall equipment in proper workingconditionwhile adhering to safety quality and cost standards.
  • Supervise maintenance and repair activities to ensure they are completed efficiently and correctly.
  • Manage outside vendors service providers and suppliers to ensure value reliability and accountability.
  • Use sound judgment whenpurchasingparts and services prioritizing preferred vendors and national accounts when possible.
  • Monitorand maintainaccuratemaintenance backlogs ensuring descriptions timelines and estimates reflect current equipment conditions.
  • Oversee oil analysis and lubrication programs and take corrective action as needed.
  • Plan and schedule equipmentuseto maximize efficiency minimize rentals andeliminateunnecessary freight or emergency purchases.
  • Train and mentor mechanics operators and support staff in safe and effective maintenance and operational procedures.
  • Ensure all maintenance records fuel logs and inspections are documented accurately within the SAP Equipment Database.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement accountability and teamwork across the equipment and field operations teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Equipment Superintendent.

WhatWereLooking For

  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in heavy equipment maintenance or related operations.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong organizational planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiencywith computers and maintenance management software; SAP experience preferred.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Resourceful ethical and committed tomaintaininghigh operational standards.
  • Willingness torelocateand work flexible hours including nights and weekends asrequired.
