The Heat Treat Operator is responsible for setting up operating and monitoring heat-treating equipment used to perform such operations as hardening quenching tempering annealing and carburizing metal parts. This role ensures components meet required hardness strength and durability specifications while maintaining safety quality and production standards.

Hourly Rate

$20.50 - $24.25

3^rd Shift Available

Sunday Thursday

9:30pm 5:30am

Must be available to work mandatory overtime.

• Operate all heat treat furnaces and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of heat treatments.
• Follow work instructions standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Communicate production or equipment issues verbally or in writing to supervisors and team members including cross-shift operators.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform basic routine machine maintenance as trained.
• Assist with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing efforts as skills develop.
• Memorize and execute emergency containment and or shutdown procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned
