Contract role - Monday - Friday - 40 hours/week

Following a direct protocol policy or procedure or order from a licensed provider provides technical support to professional medical and nursing staff. Duties consist of

the following routine clinical tasks: collection of laboratory specimens performing adult venipuncture and adult and pediatric capillary sticks and performing clinical

laboratory tests to include hemoglobin hematocrit glucose urine pregnancy fecal occult blood sedimentation rate and urine dipsticks. Sterilizes instruments inventories

and orders supplies maintains logs files and records collects clinical data and compiles statistics. Works under the supervision of a licensed provider. Evidence of specific

training in performing specialized duties and functions based on area of assignment is required.

Requirements:

Experience as a Nursing Assistant and/or Healthcare Technician in an outpatient clinical setting and/or public health.
