Head Varsity Baseball Coach

Delaware County Christian Schoolis seeking an energetic committed and mission-driven Head Varsity Baseball Coach to lead our Baseball program beginning in Spring 2027. We are looking for a coach who demonstrates strong knowledge of the game a passion for developing student-athletes and a commitment to fostering a culture of sportsmanship safety and excellence. The ideal candidate will model professionalism communicate effectively and disciple athletes in their growth both on and off the field. Above all the Head Coach will lead the program in a way that honors the Lord and represents DC with integrity.

Qualifications

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Alignment with the schools Statement of Faith (available on our website)
• Ability to articulate and model a Christian philosophy of athletics.
• Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals skills and game strategy with the ability to teach and communicate effectively at the varsity level.
• Ability to plan structure and lead effective practices.
• Ability to organize and coach the team during games and competitive events.
• Previous high school college or professional baseball coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct daily practices between 3:005:30 p.m.
• Develop team rosters create game plans and ensure effective implementation.
• Travel with the team and drive a school van to practices or games as needed.
• Foster a positive Christ-centered team culture and maintain open communication with athletes families and the athletic department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
