Job Summary

About Juno

Juno leverages collective bargaining power to secure better student loan rates for students. With 290000 members and over $2B in negotiated loan volume weve proven that group buying works. We are the most popular way to pay for the worlds top graduate programs and were looking for someone to own the communications that reach our members at the moments that decide whether they borrow with us.

The problem

Federal lending reforms have created a significant market July 2026 new caps on federal graduate loans came into effect including the elimination of Grad PLUS for new students leaving millions of students with significant funding gaps. Students need transparent competitive private options: exactly what Juno provides.

Your mission

Were seeking a leader to own our full-funnel growth for MD programs. Medical school is one of the most expensive degrees in America and with the new federal caps medical students face some of the largest funding gaps of any graduate population. Your efforts will ensure every future physician gets fair transparent financing options.

Youll build the playbook for reaching 150 MD programs and establishing Juno as the go-to resource for medical student financing.

What youll do
  • Own the MD vertical: Build and execute GTM strategy hit growth targets and drive Juno member growth.
  • Scale distribution through partnerships:
    • Negotiate national deals with key organizations that can help reach our target market
    • Activate campus-based chapters with turnkey playbooks
    • Partner with MCAT prep companies and the medical school admissions ecosystem
    • Run targeted campaigns aligned to application cycles
  • Build a campus ambassador network: Recruit train and manage high-performing medical students across MD programs with clear KPIs and incentives.
  • Talk to members directly: Stay in touch with students throughout the cycle on calls over email in DMs and on campus visits. You should know the top five reasons a med student with a rate offer never submits an application because youve heard them first-hand not because a dashboard told you.
  • Be the expert students trust: Become fluent in how graduate borrowing actually works (federal vs. private what drives a rate cosigners in-school deferral refinancing and what changed under the new caps) and be the person who can give an M1 a straight answer.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives: Partner with product on feature development collaborate with the CX/client happiness team and ensure messaging compliance.
  • Manage operations and analytics: Forecast pipeline track cohort performance optimize CAC/LTV and manage budget allocation.
  • Partner with senior leadership to own waitlist growth through to loan origination: Landing pages A/B tests content webinars email/SMS and event cycles aligned to application admissions and financial aid timelines.
What were looking for
  • Background: Typically 3 to 5 years or an outlier track record (e.g. you scaled a campus network ran national org programming built a zero-to-one motion).
    • Preference for experience in professional services management consulting investment banking or high-growth startups
    • Preference for an owner-operator who has owned a number in growth/BD/marketplaces/fintech/edtech or campus-scale programs
  • Ownership of a number end to end: Youll carry the MD verticals funded-loan target and the conversion rates underneath it. Youre comfortable being both the person who explains a miss and the person who fixes it.
  • Bias to action: Ship experiments frequently instrument attribution and close loops with lender relations and compliance.
  • Fluency with your own data: You can find where students stall between a rate offer and a submitted application and make the case for a fix with evidence rather than instinct.
  • Relationship-building that compounds: Schools student organizations ambassadors and admissions communities. Equally comfortable on a call with a target B2B partner and in a group chat with medical students.
  • Zero-to-one comfort: There is no existing playbook for this vertical. Youll write it and you find that exciting rather than daunting.
  • Comfort with seasonality: Our year has a peak. You plan for it months ahead and go all-in when it lands.
  • Tenacity: We work as hard as it takes to achieve our targets.
The X-factor
  • Youre hungry: Ready to own outcomes not just make recommendations.
  • Youre scrappy: Will do whatever it takes to win.
  • Youre magnetic: Can recruit and inspire great people.
  • You think in systems: Youd rather build the process once than do the thing by hand ten times.
What we offer
  • Compensation: $150k to $250k including performance upside tied to growth milestones. Top performers will exceed this range.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive health dental vision and retirement matching.
Why join Juno
  • Real impact: Help hundreds of thousands of students get access to the lowest rates on the market.
  • Market timing: Federal aid changes create massive tailwind for growth.
  • Proven model: $2B negotiated 290000 members product-market fit achieved.
