Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Haul Truck & Equipment Moving Operator to transport materials heavy equipment and machinery between job sites yards and designated locations. The ideal candidate has experience operating haul trucks and safely loading securing transporting and unloading heavy equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate haul trucks and equipment-moving vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Transport heavy machinery construction equipment materials and other loads to and from job sites.
- Load secure inspect transport and unload equipment according to company and DOT safety requirements.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical or safety issues.
- Assist with positioning equipment at job sites and coordinating loading/unloading operations.
- Follow assigned routes delivery schedules and site-specific safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate vehicle load and delivery documentation.
- Keep trucks and equipment clean and in safe operating condition.
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers customers operators and job-site personnel.
- Follow all company policies OSHA/DOT requirements and applicable transportation regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience hauling or moving heavy equipment preferred.
- Valid drivers license; CDL Class A preferred/required depending on equipment operated.
- Clean driving record.
- Experience with lowboys trailers dump trucks haul trucks or similar equipment is a plus.
- Ability to safely secure and transport heavy equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance and a professional attitude.
