This is a unique hardware design position that starts at product concept designing the development platforms for future iPhone generations following through HW build and will lay the foundation for iPhone product development with a critical impact on overall designs that continually push the boundaries of technology and ultimately improve the iPhone user experience.

BS Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalentn5 years industry experiencenElectrical engineering fundamentals including analog and high speed digital designnBroad experience across different applications and technologiesnDesign of complex system architectures

Strong desire to dive deep into system level issues and drive problems to closure in a team-based environment with a proactive attitudenProven track record of leading dynamic multi-functional teamsnAbility to analyze solutions and make system design trade-offsnFamiliarity with the challenges of taking a product from early architecture through to productionnHands on experience with lab test equipment to debug difficult/intermittent hardware issuesnSchematic capture and PCB layoutnFundamentals of Signal and Power IntegritynLow voltage power regulation and deliverynPrototype design and validation with custom siliconnUse of scripting languages to assist with hw developmentnExcellent verbal written and presentation skillsnMS Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
