Hardware Dev. Engineer I (Electrical), One Materials Handling System (OMHS)

Design and realize the next generation of state-of-the-art industrial machinery for materials handling. Motivated early-career electrical engineers are needed to build and deliver the artifacts used to manufacture industrial machinery at-scale. Job functions include but are not limited to: panel design schematics design interconnection and single-line diagramming product data management collaborative product development manual prototyping and first-article construction support.

Key job responsibilities
Design of power/control/data/signaling circuits to applicable local standards. Production of complete machinery schematics packages using industry-standard software including panel layouts multi-line diagrams single-line diagrams bills of materials connection reports and more. Product data management using PLM software suite. Running design reviews and alignment meetings collaboratively.

A day in the life
Daily activities include collaborative ideation and progress-tracking meetings with tight teams product data management design document production and review machinery site-visits and team building activities.

- 2 years of hardware design and validation of components subsystems and systems experience
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering electrical engineering material science physics or equivalent
- Knowledge of schematic design and debug skills
- Knowledge of current industry standards

- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing certification and livesite operations
- Experience with hardware/software integration and real-time systems

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
