Fameccanica North America is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to help shape the electrical and control architecture behind complex automated systems in its Boston Hub. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys building from the ground up partnering across disciplines and contributing to highly engineered solutions that power advanced manufacturing and robotics.

What Youll Do

• Design and develop hardware architecture for automated equipment and integrated systems.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics control panels wiring diagrams and system layouts.
• Collaborate with mechanical design software controls and manufacturing teams to ensure system performance and integration.
• Support prototyping system builds testing and troubleshooting through the development lifecycle.
• Help drive technical solutions that are scalable reliable and aligned with project requirements and customer needs.

What You Bring

• 5-10 years of experience in hardware electrical or controls design within automation machinery or industrial systems.
• Proficiency with tools such as EPlan AutoCAD Electrical or similar design platforms.
• Strong understanding of electrical standards safety requirements and system documentation best practices.
• Ability to work cross-functionally solve technical challenges and contribute in a fast-moving engineering environment.
• Experience supporting equipment build debug and validation activities is strongly preferred.
