Through integrity graciousness innovation wonderment and community we create memorable moments that keep guests returning year after OpportunityThe Lodge & Club is seeking a full-time Gym Front Desk colleague to serve as the first point of contact for members and guests visiting the fitness center. Reporting to the Gym Manager and/or Gym Supervisor this role is responsible for providing exceptional member service maintaining a clean and organized front desk environment supporting daily fitness center operations and creating a welcoming experience from arrival through departure. This position plays an important role in ensuring members and guests enjoy a safe professional and engaging fitness center Day-to-DayWelcome and assist members and guests entering the fitness towels locker access and other guest amenities as incoming fitness center telephone calls route calls appropriately and take accurate members and guests for their visit gather feedback regarding their experience and invite them to opening and closing duties as a clean organized and professional front desk and fitness center towels and maintain adequate towel inventory throughout the work areas and fitness equipment as needed including vacuuming and light equipment logs records and files and operate the POS system and process all applicable sales and sign in new and maintain water coolers and stocked cup required meetings training sessions safety courses and departmental and report safety concerns and assist in maintaining a safe working proficient in the operation and safety features of fitness center with nursery operations and childrens events when quality member service initiatives and perform additional duties assigned by Sets You ApartHigh school diploma or equivalent to read write speak and understand English sufficiently to communicate effectively with members guests and team fitness center health club hospitality or customer service experience is helpful but not certification required; certification will be provided if not currently of professional customer service and common courtesy to learn and operate point-of-sale (POS) to maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company grooming and uniform be dependable with strong attendance and to work a flexible schedule including weekends holidays and split to remain on your feet for extended to lift carry and move up to 30 to work with members guests and children in a professional and friendly In It For YouWe believe that exceptional hospitality starts with exceptional people.
