Groundskeeper (Part-Time & Full-Time)

Kukuiolono Park and Golf Course located in Kalaheo HI is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for aâFull-Time and Part-Time Groundskeeper! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Qualifications Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Must possess the ability design coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf course
• Experience with operating greens/fairway mowers preferred
• Must possess the ability to create spray programs for the golf course including greens tees fairways roughs and landscaping
• Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations
• Ability to give oral and written instructions
• Skilled in seeding fertilizing mulching and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation
• Must be dependable

Responsibilities:

• Maintains clean and organized works areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
• Mows greens aprons fairways roughs tees and other areas
• Waters tees greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
• Repairs the irrigation system pipes and irrigation heads as needed
• Grades and prepares soil base lays sod and seeds greens tees and fairways
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
• Applies pesticides herbicides and fertilizers to the golf course
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
