To maintain campus grounds parking areas pedestrian walkways athletic fields/facilities and other University property for environmental studies.
This position is considered essential during natural and man-made disasters and during inclement weather. Employee will report for duty as directed by their supervisor and is subject to recall during these types of events.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination (based on the physical demands for this position) and background check.
Minimum class B commercial drivers licenseor obtained within 6 months of employment.
Ability to operate various types and sizes of lawn mowers lawn sweepers and string trimmers.
Ability and knowledge to operate repair and install automated turf irrigation equipment
Experience doing snow removal in a commercial setting using various types of equipment
Preferred Qualification
Experience maintaining trees shrubs and flowerbeds
Experience repairing/patching concrete sidewalks and asphalt parking lots
Other Requirements
