Job Summary
New Berlin Hills Golf Course located in New Berlin WI is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Grounds & Maintenance Staff! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)
Pay:
$14 - $16 based on experience
Schedule:
Must be available to work weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares soil for planting beds and lawn areas.
- Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers weed trimmers and utility vehicles.
- Plants trees shrubs turfgrass and flowers.
- Prunes and trims trees and shrubs.
- Maintains a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup.
- Maintains the landscape through application of mulch water fertilizer and grooming.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Education and Experience:
- One month of related experience or training.
Certificates/Licenses:
- Valid drivers license required.
Environment/Noise:
- Must be able to work in a wide range of weather conditions including warm cold wet and dry.
