As a Grocery Department Manager you will oversee all daily operations of the Grocery Department drive sales and profitability and ensure strong instock conditions accurate pricing and high merchandising standards. Main responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Grocery Department with a focus on customer service sales and department readiness

• Deliver friendly prompt and knowledgeable customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally

• Ensure shelves displays and aisles are clean full frontfaced and merchandised to company standards

• Execute planograms promotional sets seasonal transitions and weekly ad merchandising

• Manage ordering inventory levels product rotation and backroom organization

• Monitor shrink and implement procedures to reduce waste and loss

• Ensure compliance with food safety sanitation safety and operational standards

• Hire train coach schedule and develop grocery associates while fostering a positive team environment

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment

Competencies:

• Grocery merchandising and planogram execution

• Inventory management ordering and shrink control

• Labor planning scheduling and performance management

• Operational standards food safety and compliance execution

Knowledge:

• Grocery product flow rotation and inventory control

• Retail merchandising and promotional execution

• Store systems and ordering tools

Abilities:

• Ability to analyze sales labor and inventory data to drive results

• Ability to train coach and develop associates

• Ability to lift push pull and carry products and work in coolers and freezers

• Travel requirements: None

• Other requirements: Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays; reliable attendance; compliance with company safety policies and Code of Business Conduct
