Job Summary
Hiddenbrooke Golf Club located in Vallejo CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
- Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
- Mows greens approaches fairways rough tees and other areas
- Waters tees greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
- Repairs the irrigation system pipes and irrigation heads as necessary
- Grades and prepares soil base lays sod and seeds greens tees and fairways
- Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
- Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be highly organized efficient and detail-oriented
- Must possess the ability to design coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf course
- Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenance
- Skilled in seeding fertilizing mulching and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation
- Must be dependable
