- Subject to management approval designs and implements a comprehensive IT governance risk and complianceframework.
- Conducts regular IT risk assessments and identifies potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Monitors regulatory developments to ensure the organizations compliance with relevant laws regulations andstandards.
- Assesses emerging issues and potential liabilities the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance of ITsystems by conducting regular reviews.
- Serves as the Agency Technology Service Requester (ATSR) acting as the agencys authorized submitter for allrequests for information technology products and services.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders including executive management legal IT compliance teams and the DoITGRC organization to communicate GRC objectives initiatives and progress.
- Performs other duties as required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
- Requires a bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology Public Administration RegulatoryCompliance Finance or a related field.
- Requires prior experience equivalent to four years of progressively responsible administrative experience conducting ITorganizational governance risk and compliance in a public or business organization.
- Prefers Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or comparable certification.
- Prefers four years of experience developing and overseeing the implementation of IT compliance programs.
- Prefers four years of experience conducting IT system auditing.
- Prefers four years of experience applying multiple Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies to projects.
- Prefers four years of experience conducting IT project management.
- Requires ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Overtime is a condition of employment and you may be requested or required/mandated to work overtime including scheduled unscheduled or last-minute overtime. This may require the ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Requires ability to attend seminars conferences and trainings to stay current on methods tools ideologies or other industry related topics relevant to the job duties.
