Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Reception and check-in of all walk-in students
- Managing phone calls
- Responding to general student questions
- Reviewing and assigning statuses to student applications
- Assisting the accommodations coordinators with larger tasks (i.e. obtaining and providing accessible course materials and books securing and providing the notes from peer notetakers etc).
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the Disability Services office
Requirements:
- Must conduct themselves in a professional and mature manner
- Must be able to show compassion and empathy when interacting with students and hearing their stories
- Must understand the importance of confidentiality and ensure that confidentiality is maintained
- Preferred to have a minimum of a bachelors degree
- Should have a desire for accessibility and ensuring equal access for our students with disabilities

Salary:$12.77 per hour
