Grade 5 Classroom Teacher

Position Overview

The Ipswich Public Schools School seeks an enthusiastic dedicated classroom teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching exceptional communication skills and an ability to foster a positive inclusive classroom environment. This teaching position is anticipated to be at the kindergarten to grade two level.

Candidates must be collaborative team players who effectively partner with grade-level colleagues and special educators across the school and district. A commitment to differentiating instruction to address diverse learning needs and abilities is essential.

Responsibilities Include:

• Implementing the Districts approved curriculum diligently and collaboratively;
• Creating engaging inclusive and differentiated learning experiences;
• Actively participating in collaborative planning with colleagues;
• Demonstrating excellent communication with students families and staff;
• Building strong trusting relationships with families of learners.

Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts DESE license in Elementary (Grades 16).
• Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Teacher Endorsement.
• Masters degree in Elementary Education Curriculum and Instruction or a closely related field preferred
