Grande Oaks Golf Club located in Davie FL is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Golf Course Maintenance - General Laborer!We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
- Mow greens tees fairways roughs and other turf areas as assigned
- Perform bunker maintenance including raking edging and sand upkeep
- Assist with golf course setup including tee markers cups ropes signage and ball washers
- Operate hand tools blowers trimmers utility vehicles and maintenance equipment safely
- Assist with irrigation repairs watering and drainage projects
- Perform landscaping duties including trimming planting mulching pruning and weed removal
- Remove debris leaves fallen branches and trash from the course and grounds
- Assist with fertilizer and pesticide applications under supervision
- Help prepare the course for tournaments special events and daily play
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and club policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
- Previous landscaping golf course or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Dependable attendance and punctuality required
- Ability to stand walk bend stoop and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time
- Ability to work early mornings weekends holidays and overtime as needed
- Outdoor work environment with exposure to heat humidity rain noise chemicals and moving equipment
