Grande Oaks Golf Club located in Davie FL is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Golf Course Maintenance - Assistant in Training! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
- Assist with mowing greens tees fairways roughs and surrounding turf areas
- Perform bunker maintenance including raking edging and debris removal
- Operate hand tools and basic maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with irrigation checks watering and minor repairs
- Help with landscape maintenance including trimming planting mulching and weed control
- Remove debris leaves and trash from the golf course and club grounds
- Set up and break down golf course accessories including tee markers ropes and signage
- Assist with fertilizer and chemical applications under supervision
- Follow all golf course safety procedures and operational standards
- Support special projects and tournament preparations as assigned
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
- High school student recent graduate or individual interested in golf course maintenance
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to learn golf course maintenance practices and equipment operation
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Golf knowledge is helpful but not required
- Ability to stand walk bend and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work early mornings weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
- Interest in turfgrass management landscaping or golf operations
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
