Global Sourcing Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented supply chain professional with a passion for supplier relationships and process improvement We are seeking a Global Sourcing Specialist to play a key role in supporting our global sourcing initiatives and driving supply chain excellence! Come join our growing team!ResponsibilitiesIdentify qualify onboard and manage suppliers as assigned. This includes requesting and checkingsupplier statements credit reports contracts non-disclosure agreements supplier extranet setup freightforwarder setup and working with the legal team on contract and maintain supplier documentation in Agile Vendorful and any other relevant strong relationships with assigned assigned category managers with tactical and administrative assigned category managers with New Product Development (NPD) project for Quote (RFQ) creation submission monitoring and analysis sending and requesting product samples to and from potential suppliers initial purchase order (PO) system data and check for accuracy completion and cost comparisons and pricing other duties as required within the nature and level of Qualification RequirementsBachelors degree in supply chain or related field and one year of relevant (American Production and Inventory Control Society) CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) certification or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) certification a plus. Understanding of supply chain processes and best practices. Project management and problem solving skills. Demonstrated supplier management skills. Must be able to work and effectively communicate with all levels of the company and suppliers. Ability to lead and effectively manage cross functional teams. Drive for continuous improvement. Must be able to manage multiple cross functional projects at Demand RequirementsOccasionally required to stand walk or sit use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controlsreach with hands and arms climb stairs balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl talk or hear taste or employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities requiredby the job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and theability to adjust focus.
