Global Public Policy and Strategy Manager (12-month contract to start)

We have an opportunity for a Global Public Policy and Strategy Manager (12-month contract with possibility for extension or conversion to FTE) to join our Legal and Public Policy team in Washington DC reporting to the VP Global Public Policy and this pivotal role you will lead Infobloxs day-to-day legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts helping shape policy outcomes that impact cybersecurity networking and critical digital infrastructure. You will serve as a trusted representative of Infoblox before Congress executive branch agencies regulators trade associations and key public-sector stakeholders. Leveraging your deep understanding of the Washington DC policy environment you will develop and execute advocacy campaigns build bipartisan relationships and advance policy priorities that support the companys strategic objectives.

Be a Contributor What Youll Do

  • Lead Infobloxs U.S. federal government affairs and advocacy strategy across Congress Executive Branch agencies global partners and key regulatory stakeholders
  • Develop and execute advocacy campaigns that advance Infobloxs public policy objectives and business priorities
  • Build and maintain trusted bipartisan relationships with policymakers congressional staff agency officials and industry stakeholders in Washington DC
  • Represent Infoblox in meetings briefings and discussions with government officials trade associations and policy influencers
  • Monitor analyze and communicate legislative and regulatory developments affecting cybersecurity networking cloud technologies and related policy areas
  • Draft policy positions comment letters consultation responses briefing materials and advocacy strategies
  • Lead Infobloxs policy engagement for operational collaboration with cyber centers and law-enforcement partners translating threat research into trusted information sharing government advisories and policy or business outcomes
  • Partner with Legal Product Security Communications and executive leadership teams to develop and advance policy priorities
  • Engage with industry associations standards organizations and policy coalitions to influence outcomes and strengthen Infobloxs industry presence
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to support policy research legislative tracking advocacy planning and content development
  • Support global public policy initiatives and international stakeholder engagement where business priorities intersect with global policy developments

Be Prepared What You Bring

  • 12 years of experience in government affairs public policy legislative affairs regulatory affairs or a related field
  • Deep experience in networking and/or cybersecurity with demonstrated success developing and executing advocacy campaigns and influencing legislative or regulatory outcomes
  • Significant experience engaging with Congress Executive Branch agencies regulators or related government stakeholders
  • Established bipartisan relationships across government policy and industry communities
  • Strong understanding of the Washington DC policy environment and political landscape
  • Experience driving policy outcomes via operational partnerships with government cyber centers law enforcement or critical-infrastructure stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience producing policy regulatory or advocacy-related materials
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across complex organizations and external environments
  • Experience using AI-enabled research analytics or content-generation tools to improve decision-making and productivity
  • Bachelors degree in Public Policy Political Science International Relations Law Cybersecurity Business or a related field; advanced degree preferred

Be Successful Your Path

First 90 Days: Immerse in our culture connect with mentors (Blox Buddies) and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work. Discuss and create short/long term goals

Six Months:

  • Establish and execute a U.S. government affairs engagement plan for priority issues including a mapped network of key Congressional and agency stakeholders
  • Deliver a recurring AI-enabled policy watch report highlighting top legislative and regulatory developments for Infoblox leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Lead or co-lead at least one major regulatory or legislative response (e.g. comment letter RFI/RFC response consultation submission) on a core cybersecurity or networking policy issue
  • Establish a process for driving policy outcomes via operational collaboration with priority cyber centers and law-enforcement partners
  • Build active participation for Infoblox in at least one high-impact industry association or coalition working group aligned to our policy and business objectives

One Year:

  • Demonstrate measurable impact on at least two priority policy outcomes (e.g. influencing legislative language shaping regulatory approaches or securing participation in key government programs)
  • Mature a data- and AI-driven advocacy pipeline that integrates policy intelligence with business development enabling earlier identification of risks opportunities and government-funded initiatives
  • Complete at least one policy outcome via operational collaboration with priority cyber centers and law-enforcement partners such as a joint advisory
  • Be viewed as a trusted advisor to senior executives on U.S. policy risks and opportunities with a clear repeatable cadence for briefings and cross-functional alignment
  • Support expansion of Infobloxs global public policy footprint including contributions to international advocacy efforts (e.g. EU cybersecurity and AI policy) informed by U.S. experience
