Job Summary
The Global Process Owner (GPO)is accountable for the design standardization governance and integrity ofa criticalcross-functionalbusinessprocessacross QTS. This roledefinesthescope of theend-to-end processand ensures it isexecutedeffectivelyconsistently and withappropriate controlsacrossthe global enterprise.It is accountable for tracking the business value realization ofimprovements to theend-to-endprocess.
The GPOoperateswithin the enterprise GPO operating model partnering closely with thefunctional leaderswhoown the management systems executive cadences and outcomesof the underlying workand the GPO Leader (who governsenterprisewideprocess standards and consistency).This role ensures the processdesigndata controls and standardsenable business outcomesaredecisiongradeand scalable.
What You Will Do:(Job Responsibilities)
Process Ownership & Governance
Ownendtoendaccountability fora specificprocess domainanditsdesign including process boundaries decision points controls and escalation paths acrossall processes and subprocesses.
Define andmaintaintheend-to-endglobalprocessdesignscopeandtaxonomy (L1L5) including standardized definitions ownership handoffs and documentation aligned with enterprise process standards.Partner with business stakeholders to ensure business process designs effectively meet businessobjectives.
Enforce process governance including stage gates reconciliations approval frameworks and exception handling.Establish and lead process council reviews toevaluate process performancecommunicateprocess health and ensureprocess roadmaps are aligned with executive stakeholder expectations.
Manage intake prioritizationsequencingand approvalofunderlyingprocess changes assessing enterprise impacts risk and control implications.
Ensure governancefor the end-to-end processaligns with enterprise initiative and process governance frameworks.
Standards Controls & Data Integrity
Develop andmaintainstandardized artifacts including process maps SOPs calendars RACIs control points and KPI definitions.
Define and govern critical data elements and assumptions including ownership lineage validation rules and data quality thresholdsin coordination with QTS data owners.
Hold sign-off authority on system changes thatimpacttheend-to-endprocess.Partner with systems and data teams to translate process standards into system requirements and embedded controls.Influence technology roadmapsto supportbusiness process designand support IT teams in technical delivery of any changesto theend-to-end process.
Apply and evolve the GPO Playbook to ensure consistent documentation depth governance rigor and audit readiness.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Definemaintainand reportprocess KPIs focused onend-to-end process cycle timesandprocesseffectiveness quality andcompliance.Clearly link process KPIs tooverallQTSenterpriseobjectives.
Use analytics and process insights toidentifybottlenecks control gaps and improvement opportunities.Identify and remediate root causes affecting process health using data-driven decision making.
Drive prioritized process improvements that strengthencycle time quality employeeexperienceand profitability.Establish a mechanism for capturing and reporting value realization of process improvements.
Enablement & Adoption
Supportadoptionofprocessstandards through training guidance communications readiness criteria and compliance reinforcement.
Coordinate rollout of process changes withkey functional stakeholdersand enterprise change partners.
Reinforce disciplined planning behaviors and adherence to enterprise standards.
Scope and Impact
Enterprisewideownershipand decision rightsforend-to-endprocessdesignsstandards KPIsand controls
Regular interaction with senior functional leaders; drivesprocesscouncilforumsand escalations

Initial FocusArea:Equipment Lifecycle
The Equipment Lifecycle Global Process Owner is accountable for the end-to-end process governing the planning acquisition deployment operation maintenance and retirement of capital and long-lead data center equipment.This roles scope includes:
Planning and forecasting
Sourcing and contracting
Receiving and staging
Deployment (build installation commissioning)
Operation and maintenance
Retirement and disposal
Governance of process handoffs decision points controls roles and accountabilities across Supply Chain Procurement Development Operations TechnologyFinanceand other stakeholder groups
Ownership of process requirements related to master data process controls metricsreportingand system integrationssupporting the equipment lifecycle process
What You Will Need to BeSuccessful:(Required Qualifications EducationExperience Certifications)
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
7-10 years ofexperience inS&OP supply chain finance operations or enterprise planning including experience leadingcrossfunctionalplanning processes in complex organizations
5 years in a process ownership business transformation or planning leadership role withdemonstratedaccountability for governance standardization controls and KPI management
Demonstrated successestablishinggovernance standards controls and KPIs in complex environments
Strong influence skills in matrixed organizations without direct authority
Demonstrated success partnering with data systems and analytics teams to define business requirements data standards controls dashboards anddecisiongradereporting
Experience supporting enterprise transformation process redesign ERP enablement or planning system implementations
Ability to present findingsand recommendations to executive stakeholder audiences
Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft CoPilot
Nice to Have:(Preferred Qualifications Education Experience Certifications)
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt from an accredited organization
Working knowledge of business intelligence and process mining tools (TableauCelonis etc.)
Experience running Kaizen/rapid improvement workshops
