Summary

• We are looking for aGIS Architectto design and support enterprise GIS architecture with strong experience inspatial databases infrastructure networking security and enterprise systems.
• The ideal candidate should be comfortable working acrossGIS technology databases cloud/infrastructure security and enterprise architecturewhile working with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintainenterprise GIS architectureand technical solutions.
• Define architecture forspatial databases GIS servers networking storage and integrations.
• Evaluate and optimize GIS database and infrastructure performance.
• SupportGIS security governance DR and business continuityrequirements.
• Develop automation and integrations usingPython JavaScript REST APIs and related technologies.
• Work with technical teams to ensure GIS solutions align withenterprise architecture standards.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions.
• Support Agile delivery SDLC activities architecture reviews and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Strong experience designing and supportingenterprise GIS architecture.
• Strong knowledge ofspatial databases and RDBMStechnologies including:
• Oracle
• SQL Server
• PostgreSQL/PostGIS
• Similar spatial database platforms
• Experience withGIS servers networking load balancing storage and infrastructure.
• Experience withPython JavaScript REST APIs or similar technologies for scripting and automation.
• Understanding ofsecurity architecture governance and enterprise security frameworks.
• Experience withdisaster recovery (DR)andbusiness continuity planning (BCP).
• Experience working withAgile methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Understanding ofenterprise architecture governance.
• Strong consulting stakeholder management communication and leadership skills.
