Geotechnical Engineering Field and Lab Assistant Summer Intern

SOCOTEC has an opening for a Geotechnical Engineering Field and Lab Assistant Summer Intern in Austin TX. The successful candidate will work alongside field and laboratory technicians in the performance of construction materials field and lab testing and construction observation. Duties may also include assisting geotechnical engineers and project managers with any other aspects of field operations needed.

Qualifications :

• Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering Geology or Construction-related Associates Bachelors or Graduate program
• Strong communication skills
• Able to perform a wide range of physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds of equipment on occasion
• Valid drivers license and good driving record is required
