The California High-Speed Rail Authoritys Construction Package 1 (CP1) is the first significant construction contract executed on the Initial Operating Section of the High-Speed Rail project in Californias Central Valley.

The CP1 construction area is a 32-mile stretch between Avenue 19 in Madera County to East American Avenue in Fresno County including major work elements in downtown Fresno. It includes 12 roadway / railroad grade separations two mainline viaducts one tunnel realignments of existing railroad tracks utility relocations roadway relocations two trench sections and a major river crossing over the San Joaquin River.

DESCRIPTION:

As aGeneralSuperintendentat Tutor Perini reporting to theProject Manageryou will have the opportunity to:

• Supervise and direct the work of discipline Superintendents across earthworks and structures construction efforts to ensure project is constructed safely in accordance with design budget and schedule.

• Assume responsibility for planning coordinating and supervising onsite functions (schedulingsubcontractor coordination etc.).

• Assume responsibility for compliance of craft workers and subcontractors with contract requirements efficient use ofmaterials & equipment site safety plan and timely performance of the project schedule.

• Provide technical assistance i.e. interpretation of drawingsrecommending construction methods and equipment etc. as required.

• Assist project management in developing project schedule site logistics plan and implementing project procedures working documents standards etc.

• Support Site Specific Safety Plan.

• Coordinate with on-site Owner employees.

• Perform additional assignments per supervisors direction.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 15 or more years of construction experience

• 10 or more years experience as a superintendent on heavy civil projects

• Experience as a superintendent on projects valued over $200M

• Previous Superintendent experience on bridge highway or transit projects

• Knowledge skills and experience with U.S. construction methods techniques and standards.

• Experience with City State Federal Government Clients preferred

• Knowledge of contract management and familiarity with local trade/unions/craft

• Experienced in MS Word/Excel Procure Bluebeam HCSS Heavy bid or similar software

• OSHA certification First Aid Certs

• Excellent written and verbal skills

• Highschool diploma or GED preferred but not required
