General Superintendent

Kinsley Steel is currently seeking a talented and experienced General Superintendent to join our growing team.

• Oversee and manage on-site construction projects and field foremen
• Ensure that projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards
• Promote a culture of safety among the team and ensure that all safety precautions are followed on-site
• Coordinate weekly look-a-head schedules to anticipate any potential issues or delays
• Attend on-site project meetings including those focused on safety quality scheduling and production
• Coordinate with other trades and schedule material deliveries to the job site
• Address non-conformances issuing corrective actions as needed
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise on-site and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) and complete as-built drawings

• A solid understanding of commercial construction and steel erection
• Previous leadership experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills will allow you to effectively convey information delegate tasks and address any concerns that may arise
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment
• Experience and knowledge in operating equipment such as transit laser level and torpedo levels
• Valid drivers license required
