Job Summary
RESPONSIBILITIES
Final Assembly Operations: Perform assembly of components and subassemblies according to work instructions blueprints and standard operating procedures.
Quality Assurance: Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards specifications and customer requirements; identify and report defects or discrepancies.
Tool & Equipment Use: Safely operate hand tools power tools and assembly equipment required for final assembly processes.
Production Efficiency: Meet daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
Documentation: Accurately complete production records checklists and required documentation in a timely manner.
Material Handling: Move materials and components within the work area using proper handling techniques and equipment.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency quality and safety.
Safety & Housekeeping: Follow all safety guidelines wear required PPE and maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
Ability to read and follow work instructions blueprints or diagrams
Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
This position may require standing for extended periods repetitive motions and lifting up to 50 lbs while working in a manufacturing or production environment.
Exposure to noise moving machinery and industrial conditions
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime as needed
TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED
