General Manager

Job Description:

The General Manager must have a genuine passion for business the Cannabis industry and the well-being of the dispensaries customers and staff. The General Manager will work with the Retail Managers to ensure thatcustomersneeds and expectations are met throughoptimalproduct selection and top-notch customer service. Ideal candidates should bea strongpeople developerpossessexcellent communication and problem- solving abilities beaction orientedand committed to the highest level of service.

The General Manageris responsible forsupporting all day-to-day operations of the dispensary. This includes but is not limitedtosales money counts and cash handling inventory control storage of Cannabis overseeing the cleanliness and organization of the dispensary and signage in the dispensary. The General Manageris responsible forprovidingan outstanding customer experience while working closely with dispensary personnel to meet revenue goals lead coach train and developthe retail team and ensurecompliance with inventory operations and system protocols.

The General Manageris responsible forworking closely with the Inventory Control Agent to ensure all stored Cannabis is accountedforand the dispensary has adequate amounts of Cannabis for daily operations. The General Manageris responsibleforcompliancetoAZDHS regulations and statutes. Thisindividual serves as the primary supervisor for all staff whileassistingin human resources responsibilities schedulingdirectionand oversight of all dispensary operationsimplementingpolicies and procedures inventoryreconciliationandmoney handling processes.

Core Responsibilities:

Duties of this job include but are not limited to:

• Manageand motivatea high levelof service and productivity amongst store management/dispensaryretail team; manage daily operations schedule opening and closing and guide all process and procedures during hours of operation.

• Managethe schedule to adequatelystaffthedispensary to meet all daily operational needs.

• Implement andmaintainall staff KPIs to achieve goals.

• Trainall employees on policies processes proceduresrolesand responsibilities.

• Maintaina clean and organized retail environment withfocusoncustomerretention product selection and retail flow and ambiance.

• Answer questions andassistwith escalated customersif needed.

• Responsible forefficient flow and operation of the front and back ofhouse.

• Expert levelproficiencyin all aspects of retail dispensary dutiesinclusive ofinventory processes auditscomplianceand employee management.

• Communicate and recognize employees to promote positive team culture.

• Providemanagement and administrative support to the Director of Retail Operations.

• Manage all administrative duties relating the POS system which can include:

• Inputpurchase orders run product reports implementdiscount policymonitorPAR levelsassistwith MarketingstrategyROIanalysisand identifying/reviewing trends.

• Manageproduct selection for the retail floor andassistthrough Inventory Managers tomaintainproper stock levels and SKU selection.

• Managethe opening and closing of the store and following all SOPs in the dispensary environment across departments.

• Balancecash registers manageall cash accounts inclusive of daily deposits and petty cash and responsible for all cash reporting

• Participate inongoing education and professional development opportunities.

• Work collectively and respectfully with all team members and management.

Qualifications and Education:

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

• Must be able to pass a background check (no felony convictions)

• Minimum of 5 years retail and business operations experience

• Associates orBachelorsdegree ispreferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Outstanding leadership organizational interpersonaltime managementand communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Knowledge of the Cannabis Industry

• Leadership experience with the ability to make informed critical decisionscomplete tasks on-time and problem solve

• Results oriented and self-starter

• Strong interest and desire to work with people and Cannabis

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Technologically advanced individual with working knowledge of cannabis POS systems

• Computer proficient; ability to easily learn new software

Physical Requirements:

• Requires prolonged sitting standing walking bending lifting and use of hands.

• Frequently requires physical exertion to manually move lift carry. pull or push heavy objects or materials.

• Frequently stooping bending and reaching

• Must work indoors and outdoorsyear-round

• Must work in noisy and crowded environments.

• Lift 25-40 pounds from the floor to a waist-high table when necessary.

• Crouch & bend often

• Stand for short/ high periods of time.

• Sit for short/ medium periods of time.

• Walk for short/high periods of time

• Occasionally sit on the floor or at floor level.

• Handle the responsibilities and routine stress often associated with this position
