Looking for General Labor Workers!
**Must be open to working 1st and 2nd shift Monday-Sunday**
**On-Call work ONLY**

Volt is immediately hiring for General Laborers Santa Maria CA.

As a General Laborer you will:

• Work in a fresh produce processing facility handling fruits and vegetables.
• Package fresh produce according to company quality and production standards.
• Wash sort and prepare produce for processing and packaging.
• Monitor product moving along conveyor belts.
• Remove low-quality produce foreign materials branches leaves trash and other debris from production lines.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all food safety sanitation and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous manufacturing production warehouse agricultural or food processing experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand walk bend and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
• Strong attention to quality and food safety standards.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be dependable punctual and flexible with scheduling.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift.
• Ability to work a 7-day week; including holidays.
• Ability to work a rotating shift if necessary.

This is a Full-time 1st Shift OpportunityPay Rate: $18/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
