GCP Solution Architect (BigQuery & Spanner)

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

More years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Architect roles.

Strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Expertise in:

o Google BigQuery

o Google Cloud Spanner

o Cloud Architecture & Design

o Data Platform Modernization

o High Availability & Scalability Design

o Security & Compliance Architecture

Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native design patterns.

Experience in technical governance and architecture reviews.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise-scale solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

Define target-state architecture for cloud-native applications and data platforms.

Lead architecture discussions with business stakeholders product owners and

development teams.

Design data warehousing and analytics solutions using BigQuery.

Architect globally scalable transactional systems using Cloud Spanner.

Drive cloud migration and modernization strategies from legacy platforms to GCP.

Establish architecture standards design principles security controls and

governance processes.

Provide technical leadership to development DevOps and data engineering teams.

Conduct architecture reviews performance assessments and solution

optimization.

Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology

solutions.
