You will practice at a large full-service medical center in Central Texas a teaching hospital campus with inpatient and outpatient services on-site imaging laboratory pharmacy and a broad multispecialty medical staff. Support is built in: scheduling nursing and ancillary teams handle the administrative load so your day stays clinical. The patient population is stable insured and largely young to middle-aged families and working adults.

• Evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy including EGD and colonoscopy
• Provide inpatient GI consultation as scheduled
• Interpret findings and direct follow-up and surveillance plans
• Partner with primary care on screening and chronic GI management

• Active unrestricted Texas medical license (or license from another U.S. state with Texas licensure in process)
• Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
• Current endoscopic competency (EGD and colonoscopy)

MondayFriday days core alternating clinic and endoscopy blocks. Scheduled call and an average of 12 weekends per month per the published coverage schedule which is issued 90 days in advance. Federal holidays off.
