Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is looking to hire a Functional Life Skills Teacher to join our staff and work in an amazing school! Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Experience working with K-12 children
- Special Education 282 Endorsement
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction in functional academics daily living skills and socialemotional development.
- Implement IEP goals through structured lessons data collection and ongoing progress monitoring.
- Support students in communication behavior regulation and independence across school settings.
- Collaborate with specialeducation teams therapists and families to ensure cohesive support.
- Maintain a safe supportive classroom environment that promotes engagement and skill growth.
